In 1964 the Ben Hogan Company introduced a new concept in driver design with the Hogan Speed Slot. Fast forward 40 years and Ben Hogan Golf is introducing the new BEN HOGAN EDGE C·F·T HYBRIDS -- a cross between a fairway wood and long iron that utilizes the highly popular BEN HOGAN C·F·T irons' technology and includes the popular Hogan Speed Slot.

Designed as an extension of the popular Edge C·F·T Irons, the innovative two-piece construction boasts a stainless steel frame with a Compression Forged Titanium face, which moves weight from the club face to the critical sole and perimeter areas of the club head for increased forgiveness and playability. The club head design features a very low center of gravity to get the ball in the air with great ease as compared to standard long irons.

The small, 1/2 size metal-wood like shape contributes to three-dimensional weight distribution for a lower, deeper center of gravity, providing ideal launch and spin conditions for added distance and accuracy. The length of the clubs is longer than a typical long iron for added distance but shorter than a typical fairway wood for increased control. The return of the famous BEN HOGAN "Speed Slot" feature provides reduced drag for improved club head speed and increased ability to square up the club face to the target.

The BEN HOGAN EDGE C·F·T HYBRID "h" is available in both Men's Right Hand Steel and Graphite #1h-#5h and Men's Left Hand Steel and Graphite #2h-#5h, with custom options in shaft type, length, and flex.

New BEN HOGAN EDGE C·F·T h irons include two hybrids (3h and 4h replacing the traditional 3 and 4 irons), is rounded out with standard C·F·T irons 5 through Equalizer, and are available in men's right and left hand.

Available in mid-February, the BEN HOGAN EDGE C·F·T HYBRIDS have a suggested retail price of $120 each for steel and $150 each for graphite. BEN HOGAN Edge C·F·T h irons have a suggested retail price of $800 for a set of 8 with steel shafts and $1,000 for a set of 8 with graphite shafts.
