Ben Hogan Staff Player Jonathan Byrd Records Second Career Victory

Using the BEN HOGAN APEX F·T·X irons and the BEN HOGAN APEX TOUR golf ball, Jonathan Byrd recorded his second career victory at the B.C. Open in Endicott, New York, yesterday. Byrd fired a final round 68 after an impressive 65 on Saturday. With four rounds of steady play and consistent shot-making, Byrd made 23 birdies and an eagle en route to posting a 20-under-par 268. Jonathan matched his finesse with power as he averaged an impressive 300 yards off the tee.

After entering the final round with a one shot lead, Byrd found himself standing on the 15th tee in a tie with seven other players. Birdies at 15 and 16, along with pars at 17 and 18, were good enough to help Byrd record his second victory. His other win came in 2003 at the Buck Challenge. This is Byrd’s first victory since undergoing hip surgery in February.
